This recent photo was taken on a mini getaway and the overall experience at the small eco-styled resort had me thinking about similar businesses and how they use customer feedback to improve their offering.

Remember, your brand is beyond a logo and ultimately you want your customers to have a ‘love sponge’ relationship with your business. Yes, you want that they are in awe with your products or service and will NOT entertain any alternatives.

Once you choose to act on customer feedback you do the following:

  • You show your customers that you value their opinion
  • You get great insights to your customers and you use these to improve your products or service
  • You understand your customer better and you build loyalty and other retention programmes
  • You connect with your customers and sharpen how you reach them with your brand messaging
  • You create promoters; these persons will shout at the roof tops all the awesomeness of your product or service
